I am Aristéu, I import
non-perishable food from Sardinia to Switzerland
I offer farmers a fair revenue for their products, and cut logistics costs, so that most of your money actually goes to the farmers.
Once a year, during the order cycle, you place here and pay your order, then receive up to four food deliveries per year at a local collection depot associated to a housing or a vegetable cooperative, or to a large WG.
Aristéos was the ancient hero reputed to have brought agriculture to Sardinia: there are no heroes here, but together we can help support small scale Sardinian farmers!
Behind Aristéu is Peppe Congiu, Sardinian who studied and worked in Switzerland. He personally sources the products from the farmers and transports them in Switzerland by ship and van.
Discover sardinian Products

All our products are of plant origin and most are naturally without gluten.
Most have a shelf life of at least one year, and many over two.
Explore our offer at any time, to check prices and learn more about a product’s ties to Sardinian culture.
During an order cycle, compose your order selecting products from the dedicated pages or from farmers’ pages.
If a product cannot be delivered, you will be refunded the relative amount.
find your Collection depot
Aristéu delivers food to depots linked to purchasing groups, Gemüse- and Wohngenossenschaften, or large WGs.
You can contact Aristéu to know where to get your goods, or to add a depot to the list. Make sure to have access to an active depot before placing your order!
Active depots – WGs excluded – are shown in the map below.

Meet the farmers

The producers you will be supporting are small scale farmers, who grow organically (though not always certified) local or locally adapted varieties of crops.
